Throughout her journey as an actress, screenwriter, painter, and now novelist, one theme consistently emerges: the exploration of self-construction, inherited violence, resilience, and the pursuit of freedom. Her debut novel, Lena, co-written with Samuel Massila, is no exception. We wanted to delve deeper into these themes and trace the thread that runs through her work.

I wanted to stand alongside the person living that journey.
